How long should the light shine in the aquarium?
This question concerns every aquarist after setting up the tank.
There is no blanket answer to this question, but you should set the connected timer so that the light is on for about 8-11 hours per day. Depending on when you want to see the aquarium lit, you can of course shift the beginning or end of this duration in moderation.

Furthermore, you can also delay the end by including a lunch break. This should last a maximum of up to 4 hours. In addition, this break can also help to fight algae.
